Pre-Surgical Instructions
Please DO NOT take blood thinners such as coumadin, warfarin, Plavix, or aspirin; aspirin-containing drugs such as Anacin or Excedrin; or drugs such as Advil or Motrin for one week prior to surgery. Tylenol is advised.
Please inform the doctor if you are apprehensive and a tranquilizer will be prescribed. If you will need this medication, it is necessary to make arrangements to have someone to drive you to and from the office.
When scheduling the appointment, please bear in mind that rest is advised for the remainder of the day after surgery.
Please EAT A LIGHT MEAL prior to your appointment.
